Our Learning and Development team offers specialist training and development for other organisations.

We have provided learning opportunities in settings such as Drug Action Teams, Criminal Justice and Social Services teams, Health Services, Young Peoples’ services, Community Groups and with employers. Independence Trust is a member of the DrugScope’s Education and Training Forums and the national alcohol agency, Alcohol Concern. In addition to our regular timetable of events we offer training tailored specifically for your needs. This can be delivered at a location of your choosing. Our Learning and Development suite at Messenger House has disabled access and a loop hearing system.
