Advice and Information
If you are worried about drug or alcohol use (your own or someone else’s) you can contact Independence Trust’s drug and alcohol service.
Here you can get advice, support and information from a member of our experienced and trained team in a safe and confidential environment.
Assessment and referral
Together with one of our team you can consider the support that would help you to make changes in your life. We can then help put this support in place. Support might include referral to an NHS specialist service but might also be about other aspects of your life such as your general health, housing, or work.
Ongoing One to One support
After your first appointment you can arrange to see one of our staff regularly and put together an individual support package to meet your particular needs.
Complimentary Therapies
We offer complementary therapies to help you relax and handle cravings and feelings of stress.
Needle Exchange
Independence Trust runs needle exchange services around the county providing safe injecting equipment as well as advice, information, guidance and the opportunity to access our other services. You will need to return needles to us after use and we provide facilities for this to happen safely.
Group work
Some people find that they prefer to access support in small groups and we run various groups around the county where you can address your drinking or drug use. Details are available from any of our staff team.
