At some point in our lives we all need a bit more confidence to deal with everyday life. The confidence building sessions will support you in building confidence and assertiveness.
This will be done through covering different topics that are important to help us to be more confident and assertive about what we want and how we want to live.
It will cover ways in which you can become more positive by replacing cognitive distortions with more positive thoughts. By learning different relaxation techniques and exercises that can be used on a daily basis to help build and maintain confidence you will also gain a better understanding of how thoughts can affect our feelings and behaviour. There will be sessions on how a healthy lifestyle such as healthy eating, exercise and social inclusion can help not only our general wellbeing but also our confidence.
