The Mental Health Project
We're here to help in Herefordshire
Delivering services to adults with prolonged mental illness - We're here to support with people's daily living skills and enable people to build confidence and live independent and successful lives, often after a period of illness. We have a great deal of experience of working with vulnerable people. The type of support we can offer depends on the needs of the individual. Our fully trained Care and Support workers provide a range of professional support services for people with mental health issues, often with complex needs. Working with people who have just left hospital or long-term psychiatric care, we can literally be a lifeline.
Individuals have a tailored care and support package which can include advice and help, through to more practical support for everyday tasks such as accessing shops and community events. These might be one-on-one activities, or take place in groups, but our focus is always on helping individuals maximise their recovery and maintain their independence.
